Functions as a financial fact-finding committee. Prepares the annual League budget, advises the Board of Directors on dues, fines and assessments. Meets twice a year.
Plans and makes arrangements for all social functions and general meetings; plans June luncheon and holiday party. Must arrive at general meetings early and stay after to clean up.
Investigates eligibility of candidates proposed for membership. Plans and hosts Admissions events in June and August, followed by September through February involvement.
Evaluates all voluntary service and interviews members for placement on projects and committees; develops attendance policy; leads group in placement discussions in March.
Receives ideas for changes or additions to the by-laws and standing rules; recommends any changes to the membership for approval; busiest time in January through April; varies year to year.
